Vikings Year End Banquet and Awards 2017

Our final social event of the summer season is just about here! It’s your last chance of the 2017 season to share food and fun with our Vikings families, so don’t miss it! This event is also an opportunity to recognize our swimmers’ achievements over the past few months. Here are details on the awards that will be presented:

Vikings Award

  • The Vikings Award is given to one boy and one girl in each swim practice group (i.e. a total of 2 Vikings Awards are handed out to each swim practice group, so 2 for SR1, 2 for SR2, etc.)
  • This award is essentially a spirit award given to individuals who are positive and encouraging, “team players”, and who consistently attend practices and work hard.

Aggregate Award

  • The Aggregate Award is given to 1 boy and 1 girl in each BCSSA division.
  • This Award is for top performance, and is calculated based on the total points scored at the VD Regional Championship meet.

Ribbons/medals from Provincials will also be handed out.
